Been looking for a white camellia tree for quite a while and was elated to find one in the garden centre and parted with £90.00. Quite a lot in my opinion to spend on one plant for the garden but it was exactly what I wanted. A few weeks after planting the buds opened to show red petals. I have sent emails, called the nursery and tried to speak to the manager to no avail. Really disappointing customer service.

I found this garden center thanks to a friend on the tropical forum. I would like to highly recommend Newgate nuseries from the Preston area. Even though we live in Grange over Sands, we will be visiting this place regularly. I would like to add that the service is very nice, provides advice. Very good family business. Wish there were more places like this. I would highly recommend.

I ordered some planters over the phone. I knew exactly what I needed as I had ordered the same Planters elsewhere previously. After 2 detailed phone conversations I paid for my order. Unfortunately when they arrived they were not the planters I had ordered. I run a small business myself and know sometimes errors happen but I also know how to treat customers. The rudeness I was met with was something I’ve never experienced before. Sadly as I became involved with management as the complaint escalated - it became clear the rudeness comes from the top. The off hand attitude and accusations were quite frankly offensive. To put an end to the situation I wished her all the best with the business and hung up. It was a lesson if I ever needed it (which I don’t) of how not to treat customers in an industry that’s already struggling. It’s a shame as it could have been such a different outcome.

Small family owned nursery with great choice of trees/plants/shrubs. Lovely hanging baskets & tubs also available, and always staff around who are very knowledgeable and happy to answer questions and give advice. On my last visit I wanted a particular wooden box filled with plants for a gift. I've bought these previously for friends who have been delighted with them. On this occasion there weren't any available, but on speaking to a member of staff, she took me to the empty boxes, where I made my choice, and arranged to go back in a couple of days to pick it up fully planted. Beautiful & my friend loves it

This is a relatively small nursery with a large selection of well-priced plants. The real star though was the pottery barn with a wide selection of quality plant pots at good prices- especially with 20% off in January. Staff are very friendly and knowledgeable. You can click and collect from their website too.
