Please note we are a wholesale nursery - we are NOT a garden centre (no perennials, hanging baskets, coffee shop etc). The Nursery is open to the public Mon-Fri 9-5pm - we are a working farm and a stout pair of boots and suitable clothing is recommended. Please contact us to make an appointment. Growing a wide selection of ornamental trees and shrubs,(in particular the production of Maples, Rhododendrons, Azaleas and Ornamental hedging) the majority of plants produced on site are from seed raised on the nursery - for subsequent planting or potting on. Fabulous... we went today with an idea of a rowan tree and a maple. We explained where they were for and were told that they were not going to be suitable. We were shown round a range of trees and large shrubs that would thrive and were shown them in various stages of growth so we could fully understand how they would grow and their eventual size. We weren't pushed or rushed. We eventually decided on a Gelder Rose. Cannot recommend highly enough. Knowledgeable, friendly and good value for money.

Rang around a few places to get quotes for some trees and found the service not altogether satisfactory. Stumbled on Steve at Mill house nursery and placed an order for a number of trees. The trees were ready for me as agreed and Steve helped me load my trailer. I couldn’t have asked for a more complete service, and would highly recommend.

Superb service via phone, email and in-person; Steve even lined them up in a row while i measured and deliberated the quantity! 14 portuguese laurel (bought in 2019) delivered and in great condition and have grown well. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend. Shame i don't live closer.
