This is a very small garden centre so not much choice. The outside area is larger and near and tidy but still not much choice. It seems to have a lot of small bits to it, it feels cramped. The food counters look good but so very expensive, there are a few frozen cabinets a butchers and fancy cakes. The cafe is good, plenty of room but not much choice. Not what I'm looking for in a garden centre not enough choice for me. The best part is the marmosets I could watch them for hours not sure why they are there, they are not for sale and there are a few other animals that are for sale.

I hadn't visited here in a long time and was pleasantly surprised when I went last week. Excellent selection of indoor plants and ornaments greet you first followed by an Edinburgh Wool clothing department with super sale offers. Through spacious arrangements of outdoor furniture and garden tools and equipment lead to a fabulous food department with a butcher's counter, bakery items, ready meals, cakes, biscuits, jams etc. The cafe is great with a good menu and table service. We went for garden furniture and didn't have time to wander the outdoor section but will be revisiting very soon. We bought good sturdy furniture at a very reasonable price and the helpful staff loaded it into the car.

Well stocked local garden centre selling gifts, clothing, plants and gardening equipment etc. The cafe is clean with a good menu plus children's menu. Food is well prepared presented. Staff are friendly and accommodating. Easily for wheelchair to access.

This used to be a great place to take the kids, they could see all the animals and look at all the plants. We would visit the cafe and buy sweets on the way out. Since changing hands the pet section has been reduced to almost nothing. The price of sweets and the cafe have risen exponentially. The building is poorly ventilated and really uncomfortable in summer. There are some decent aspects but overall just feels like you pay over the odds for very little benefit.

Excellent service. We had a fruit scone with jam and cream, a cappuccino and a latte. Good food, drinks and pleasant staff. It didn't cost a fortune, so give it a try, you never know you might enjoy it as much as we did!
